While studying journalism in college, Caitlin worked at a catering company, mostly serving weddings, where she became fascinated by the personal stories behind each couple. The way they met, what brought them together, and the dreams they shared for the future—it was clear to her that the most memorable weddings were the ones that felt truly reflective of the couple’s unique journey. This realization sparked a shift in her career, and she began to explore how to bring these stories to life in meaningful ways through design and event planning.

In 2022, Caitlin opened Eastman Events to have greater control over the events she took on and to create a more personalized, boutique experience for her clients. Since then, Eastman Events has grown into a sought-after event planning company known for its attention to detail, creative vision, and deep commitment to bringing each couple’s unique love story to life through thoughtful, customized design and planning.
